The entry page for the 2016 Tallahassee Professional Photography Guild Salon Competition is officially live!
First off, remember to join PrintCompetition.com. Select the Standard ($6 for a year) or Premium ($10 a quarter) so you can access our salon site and upload your images. Click this link to review options and join:

Once that is complete you will be able to log in and select our guild. Starting today you can upload your images for the competition, but don’t worry, its not crunch time just yet!
From now until June 17th we have early bird rates in effect. The case fee is $35 for up to 6 images. From June 18th till June 20th a late fee entry can be bought at $50. The entry portal closes promptly at 11pm on June 20th!
I’ll be sure to send out plenty of reminders in that final week.
As talked about in the review session, images need to be matted and prepped for digital display and the ease of our judges to review. If you need help matting your images take a moment to watch Kira’s video:
To make sure images display correctly please review the following from PrintCompetition.com
Files must be sized so the maximum dimension in any direction is 4,000 pixels including presentation mats (20 inches at 200 ppi). Each image file must contain an embedded color profile of either sRGB or Adobe RGB1998 and be saved at a JPEG quality setting of 10. Monitor Settings will include D65, Brightness of 120 cd/m2 and 2.20 gamma. Total file size should not exceed 10 MB.
Remember that you are not limited to one image per category for Salon and there are far more options for you to enter. Attached below is listings of all the available categories.
