This month we welcome Bob and Gail Knight and their program, Big Business Practices for Small Business Success
Bob and Gail Knight, an entrepreneurial couple, have been in the photography industry for more than 35 years. Based in Tallahassee, FL they have owned and operated three different photography firms. Bob Knight Photo, was born in 1976 and was successfully sold in 2007. As Glamour Shots Franchisees they owned a total of 8 retail units throughout Florida from 1989 through 1996. In 2007, they helped establish Event Photography Group, which is now the largest Event Photography firm in North America. EPG operates in 48 States and 6 provinces of Canada. The Knights are the largest individual stockholders of the firm. EPG also photographs the largest Endurance Race events throughout the world.
As partners, the Knights offer distinctively separate skill sets. Bob Knight will be speaking to the Guild on the subjects of Goal Setting, Marketing, Choosing a Niche, Growing with Scale, Operational Logistics and Customer Service. Gail Knight will be speaking about Best Business Practices, Accounting, Understanding Costs, Risk Management, Business Taxes, the Risks and Rewards of Working with your Spouse and Hiring Practices to fit the needs of the firm. They will be taking questions following the presentation.
