About the Artist…
Pepito is an award-winning portrait artist, who is world renowned for his burnished Sepia Portraits. His name is listed in the “Who’s Who in Professional Photographic Imaging.” Pepito was named 2004 and 2006 Photographer of the year by the Professional Photographers of America. In March 2005, by special invitation of the South Korean Government, his work was selected as part of an exhibition on Tour at the Imaging Asia Convention hosted by the Professional Photographers of Korea . In addition, he was also awarded the prestigious Fuji Masterpiece Award.

Pepito is a sought after speaker, having presented his program “Enhancing the Art of Wall Portraiture” throughout the Southeastern United States.
Pepito presents 3 and 5 day hands on workshops in his Tampa Florida studio. His program is all about emerging yourself in a new way of thinking about cutting edge business, sales and marketing techniques in the art of wall portraiture. There is a lot of money to be made in the wall portrait home décor business.
He was successfully involved in commercial photography for many years before making the decision to specialize in the art of portraiture. His decision wasn’t a simple one. He studied under numerous portrait photographers in the U.S. and abroad. perfecting his photographic skills and attending various workshops and private sessions with the masters.
During the 1980’s Pepito served as station photographer for Public Broadcasting (PBS) affiliate WEDU in Tampa. Through this relationship he has photographed some of the greatest entertainers of our time, including Luciano Pavarotti, Tony Bennett, Steve Allen, Duke Ellington, Robert Urich, Amy Grant, Loretta Lynn, Vince Gill, and many others.
