This month’s meeting will be a photo safari, so bring your cameras!  Matt Radlinski, of Verve Studio in Gainesville, Florida will be taking us through an on-location shoot using different areas of Bradleys’ Retreat.  We’ll see him shoot in late afternoon sun (maybe some rain?), soft evening light, under a covered porch and indoors with limited lighting.  We will have a bride and groom all dressed up so make sure you bring your cameras, you’re going to want to record some of his posing and lighting techniques.  Please keep in mind, however, that images taken at a workshop may not be used on your blog or  website or for business promotion.

Location: Bradley’s Retreat, (map).   Bradley’s website with directions, etc. is here:  http://www.bradleyspond.com/main.cfm

Dinner: Dinner will be provided from Sonny’s BBQ for an additional $10, but you MUST RSVP for dinner.  If you prefer to eat before you come or brown bag it, you’re more than welcome, the usual meeting fee will still apply ($15 for members, $20 for guests).  PLEASE RSVP to me with how many you will have for dinner by Monday, July 19th

Print Competition: Monthly print competition returns to the July meeting!  The deadline to have prints submitted is 6:30 p.m.   July’s Challenge Category is Use of Unconventional Light Source. Visit the rules and categories on TPPG’s website, or if you have specific questions, please contact Linda, the Print of the Month Chair.  After the speaker’s program, we will be giving a print critique by panel, which is an invaluable tool for learning all about competition (and making better images!)

We hope to see you there!
