There’s so much more to the business of photography than just Photoshop. Today there are hundreds of applications available that can make the business side of photography more manageable. In this course, Kira will get specific about how she uses applications like Evernote and the iPad Apps Shoot & Sell and Portfolio to complete her in person sales as well as how she utilizes the online service, MailChimp to market to her clients. You’ll leave this course with new bag of tricks to make your sales workflow go more smoothly!

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
With a BA from The University of Alabama with a focus on Photography, Digital Art, and Web Design, Kira wins the award for longest degree title in the 2005 UA graduation program. While she always enjoyed the darkroom and photography as a hobby, her first career was as a web designer for 7 years. Kira jumped on the opportunity to return to photography in 2010, but this time as a full time business owner and has never looked back. In 2013 and 2014, Kira was voted Best of Tallahassee by Tallahassee Magazine readers. In 2014 alongside earning the title of Tallahassee Photographer of the Year, she also became an IPC Silver Medalist her first year entering. She is also the 2015 President of the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild. When not slinging a camera, Kira is a wife and mom who spends a ridiculous amount of time worrying about the impending zombie apocalypse.
