Achieving the most complimentary or story telling results is a lot easier when you understand how to best find or control lighting direction and quality. Sam and Patricia will demonstrate these ideas in multiple locations with models. Easy to remember ideas such as Sam’s “Boy Light” and “Girl Light” will help you master the skills to most efficiently use lighting and posing for the faces and figures in front of your camera. Selection of focal length and depth of field to enhance effects will become more clear as you see the differences with models. Sam and Patricia will use a combination of reflectors, strobes, and “natural” light during these sessions. There will be time for questions on site so specific concerns can be addressed. If the space permits, Patricia will also be demonstrating some post production techniques in Nik Software and Photoshop.
