KEELY DEUSCHLE IS COMING TO TALK TO US ABOUT YOUR WEBSITE!
We’ve all heard the buzz-phrase “search engine optimization” and its importance for a website…BUT…there’s another side to a website that we don’t hear much about – it’s design and usability! A search engine looks at your site’s code, but real people – your potential clients – are the ones who will see and use your website and ultimately decide whether or not to do business with you! And often times, the way a website is designed can cause a potential client to click on to the next site and not likely to return.
One of the biggest mistakes is designing a site with elements that are important to you rather than what’s important to your visitor. Join Keely as she shares some website design tips, techniques, and brainstorming methods that can help you ensure that a potential client has a positive viewing experience on your website.
ABOUT KEELY
Keely Deuschle started her photographic career in early 2007 and spent the first year immersing herself into every educational opportunity available. By 2008, she opened Mikkean Photography in Orange Park, FL and began specializing in maternity, newborn and child portraiture. Later that year, Keely became a Certified Professional Photographer and has earned various awards, including having some of her images accepted into PPA’s Showcase Collection. In 2010, Keely was named the Jacksonville Professional Photographers Group (JPPG) Photographer of the Year. She currently serves on the JPPG Board of Directors and is also a PPA Councilor.
Before opening Mikkean Photography, Keely spent seven years as the Webmaster / Internet Marketing Manager for the Winn-Dixie Supermarket chain and has over 20 years of experience in web design, programming, and Internet marketing. She is a self-proclaimed geek and challenges herself to stay on top of the changing web technologies and Internet marketing techniques just for fun! She greatly enjoys teaching and working one-on-one with photographers on what they can do to improve their website not only for search engines but for a potential client’s viewing experience, too.
