ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Shannon is a Florida raised girl with a heart for travel. Her love of documenting weddings, and life events, have given her the opportunity to explore new places and build relationships with clients that she never could have imagined possible. After graduating from The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale in 2006, specializing in Fashion Photography, Shannon began assisting wedding photographers and soon realized her true passion. She started as an office manager, for a wedding photography business, and quickly moved her way up as an associate photographer. Shannon’s favorite take away, from each event she photographs, is not the beautiful images, but rather the fact that she has the opportunity to capture an unforgettable moment in people’s lives. She loves leaving a session, or wedding, and having the client tell her that they felt completely at ease and beautiful. She has become friends with so many of her clients and feels blessed to be so fortunate. You will find Shannon spending most of her time with her husband, Thomas, and her dog, Lola. She is always dreaming up new and creative endeavors and is constantly learning her craft. If she isn’t photographing then you can probably find her traveling the country, soaking up new inspiration for her work.
